Itinerary

Day 1

>Arrival in Manali

Arrive in Manali and check in to your hotel. Spend the day at leisure exploring Mall Road, cafes, and local markets. Prepare for your adventurous journey to Spiti Valley.

Day 2

Manali to Kaza (via Atal Tunnel)

Begin your journey early in the morning towards Spiti Valley. Drive through the famous Atal Tunnel, one of the longest highway tunnels in the world, connecting Manali to Lahaul Valley. Continue through scenic landscapes featuring rugged mountains, river streams, and remote villages. As you move deeper into Spiti, witness the dramatic change in terrain from green valleys to cold desert landscapes. Reach Kaza by evening, check in to your hotel, and relax. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Day 3

Kaza Local Sightseeing

After breakfast, explore the cultural and scenic attractions around Kaza. Visit the famous Key Monastery, perched on a hilltop and known for its peaceful atmosphere and stunning views. Continue to Kibber Village, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world. Visit the iconic Chicham Bridge, the highest suspension bridge in Asia. Spend the day capturing breathtaking views and experiencing the unique lifestyle of Spiti Valley. Return to Kaza for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Kaza – Hikkim – Langza – Komik

Today, explore some of the highest villages in the world. Start with Hikkim, home to the world’s highest post office where you can send postcards to your loved ones. Visit Langza Village, famous for ancient fossils and the giant Buddha statue overlooking the valley. Continue to Komik Village, one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Enjoy panoramic views of the snow-covered mountains and experience the peaceful lifestyle of these remote villages. Return to Kaza for an overnight stay.

Day 5

Kaza to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum Pass

After breakfast, proceed towards the beautiful Chandratal Lake, also known as the "Moon Lake". En route, cross the Kunzum Pass, offering mesmerizing views of glaciers and mountain peaks. Upon reaching Chandratal, take a short trek to the lake and admire its crystal-clear waters reflecting the surrounding mountains. Spend the evening enjoying the serene environment under a sky full of stars. Dinner and overnight stay in camps near Chandratal.

Day 6

Chandratal to Manali

Wake up early and enjoy the sunrise at Chandratal Lake. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Manali. Drive through the same scenic route, crossing Kunzum Pass and Atal Tunnel once again. Enjoy the changing landscapes as you descend back to lush green valleys. Reach Manali by evening and relax after the long journey. Overnight stay in Manali.

Day 7

Departure from Manali

After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Your incredible journey through Spiti Valley comes to an end. Depart from Manali with unforgettable memories of stunning landscapes, peaceful monasteries, and thrilling mountain roads. Safe travels!
