Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival in Chandigarh | The First Planned City of India
Reach your pre-booked hotel in Chandigarh, check-in and rest for sometime. You will then meet your road-captain for a briefing session and also the day-wise plan. After that, you will be introduced to the Royal Enfield Bikes that you will ride throughout the tour. Later, have dinner, retire to your bed and prepare for the next day.
Day 2
Chandigarh to Narkanda | The Apple Capital of India
Check out from your hotel and embark on a scenic road journey towards Narkanda, also known as the Apple Capital of the country. As you continue, the terrain becomes more rugged, revealing sweeping vistas of the Himalayan ranges. The road's twists and turns lead you through pine-scented air, and occasional glimpses of terraced fields add to the visual delight. On reaching Narkanda, check-in to your hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 3
Narkanda to Chitkul | Welcome to The Last Inhabited Village at the Indo-Tibetan Border
Post check-out, start your journey from the hotel to Chitkul, the last inhabited village before the Indo-China Border. Embark on a picturesque road trip, indulging in the limitless beauty of Kinnaur Valley. Follow the Sutlej River and turn right at Karcham for Chitkul. You can also explore the renowned 'Hindustan ka Akhri Dhaba' for delightful meals. Later, check-in and rest at the hotel/homestay for an overnight stay.
Day 4
Chitkul to Kalpa | Spot the Sacred Shivling Rock Atop the Kailash Mountain
Check out from the hotel and resume your bike journey towards the quaint town of Kalpa, situated on the banks of Sutlej River. Retrace towards Karcham and take a left turn from Powari to reach the main town of the Kinnaur district, ReoKong Peo. Continue to reach Kalpa and have a comfortable overnight stay in a camp/homestay, from where you can witness the beauty of Kinnaur Kailash Peak.
Day 5
Kalpa to Kaza | Explore the 'Ajanta of the Himalayas' at Tabo
Check out from your camp and embark on a road journey to Kaza, a beautiful town in the Spiti Valley. On your way, cross the Khab Bridge and the merging of Spiti & Satluj Rivers. Stop at Nako Lake for lunch. Continue via Sumdo, turning right to explore Gue Monastery. Proceed to Tabo Monastery, the 'Ajanta of the Himalayas', and arrive in Kaza. Later, check in for an overnight stay at your hotel/homestay.
Day 6
Sightseeing Around Kaza | Visit the World's Highest Post Office
Wake up and get ready to begin your sightseeing tour around Kaza. Begin by exploring the grand Key Monastery with its historic murals and weaponry. Head towards Langza Village and visit Lang Temple. Then, visit Hikkim, home to the world's highest post office. Continue to Komik, Asia's highest Village. Return to your Kaza hotel/homestay for an overnight stay.
Day 7
Kaza to Chandratal Lake via Kunzum La | Explore Glistening Lake that Changes Colours Throughout the Day
Check out from your hotel/homestay in Kaza and begin your journey to Chandratal Lake. Experience a scenic journey amidst the Himalayas. Beyond Kunzum La Pass, take a right, 4 km before Batal. Reach Chandratal Lake and camp overnight by this crescent-shaped gem, immersing in its unbinding beauty.
Day 8
Chandratal Lake to Manali via Rohtang | Witness Spellbinding Views of Geypan Peaks
Check-out from your camps and start riding towards Manali. Pass the iconic Rohtang Pass, treating your eyes to the stunning Himalayan Range panorama. Upon arrival in Manali, settle into your hotel for a brief respite. Roam the charming Mall Road or seek solace at the revered Hadimba Devi Temple. Have a comfortable overnight stay at your hotel.
Day 9
Manali to Chandigarh | Bid Farewell to the Mountains
Pack your bags and check-out from your hotel. Begin your bike journey back to Chandigarh. Upon reaching Chandigarh, hand over your bikes and bid farewell to your fellow riders. Return home with a bagful of memories.

Know Before You Go

- For safety purposes, a biking tour is not recommended for women who are more than 3 months pregnant, anyone that has had major surgery, or has a broken leg/arm, has chronic back or neck pains, etc.
- Climatic conditions in the high altitudes vary from the plains; it is advisable that you take adequate time to get acclimatized to high altitudes.
- Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
- The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
- Pay heed to the tour guides and instructors in order to enjoy a safe and sound tour.
- All entry tickets for stupas, monasteries, sightseeing, state and entry fees, monument entrances, camera charges, permits, etc. are not a part of the package.
- Any personal expenses or items of personal nature will not be included in the package. Any meals or transfers not mentioned in the itinerary are to be considered an exclusion in the deal. Any kind of drink (alcoholic, aerated, or mineral water) is not included in the package cost.
- Transportation during the trip would be in Non AC & Non-Heater vehicles. Please wear clothes according to the weather while travelling.
- It is recommended to carry enough warm clothes and the right kind of shoes for the tour. The advisable baggage weight is 60 litres as you might have to carry the luggage to the backup vehicle, the accommodation, etc.
- ID proof is mandatory for each individual guest at the time of booking, and also upon arrival. PAN card will not be considered as a valid address proof.
- GST is applicable to the package cost.
- Any breakage or damage of any items in the resort will be charged at actuals.
- All the travellers are requested to carry a copy of their medical certificate (if any) with them.
- Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed. Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
- There will be a refundable security deposit per bike depending on the variant selected. Please ensure you pay that in advance and carry the receipt with you at all times to get a refund later.
- In case a rider leaves the bike in the middle of the trip, charges for re-transporting the bike to the destination will be borne by the rider.
- During a bike trip, in case the roads are blocked due to landslides or a reason that is beyond control, Vacation Kart will rearrange the itinerary for the travellers real-time, however, the cost of alternative accommodation will be borne by the customer as the hotels pre-booked execute their cancellation policies and are nonrefundable.
- Any fuel for the bikes, any charges for spares parts and damage caused to the bikes, etc. will be charged at extra.
- Check your bikes properly before every day's ride and keep the tour guide informed of the same.
- Always carry your driver's license, wear helmets and riding gear, etc., while riding a bike.
- Rescheduling Policy for Private (Standard & Deluxe Package) & Group Bookings: 1) If rescheduling is made 7 days after the Booking Date till 15 days prior to the Date of Travel then 30.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as rescheduling fees. | 2) If rescheduling is made 0 days to 15 days before the Date of Travel then 100.0% of the total tour cost will be charged as cancellation fees. | 3) If bookings are made 15 days before the Date of Travel no rescheduling & modifications will be made.
- Rescheduling Policy for Private (Super Deluxe) & Hotel Specific Bookings: No modification or Rescheduling will be catered. A standard cancellation policy will be applicable for such cases.
- Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or other unforeseeable circumstances), [Vacation Kart] reserves the right to reschedule Tours & treks or offer alternative itineraries to ensure the safety and well-being of clients and staff.
- Cancellation After Rescheduling: Clients who reschedule their tours or treks but later decide to cancel will be subject to our standard cancellation policy. Any rescheduling fees paid will be non-refundable.
