Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival in Guwahati | Transfer to Shillong

Upon your arrival in Guwahati, the driver will pick you up from the Guwahati Airport/ railway station/ bus stand and transfer you to your hotel in Shillong. On the way, visit the picturesque Umiam Lake, also known as Barapani, a man-made reservoir surrounded by lush green hills. Get dropped off at your hotel in Shillong and after check-in rest of the day is yours to rest and rejuvenate. Enjoy an overnight stay in Shillong.

Day 2

Cherrapunji Excursion | Visit the cascading Elephant Falls

The driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you for a day excursion to Cherrapunji. En route, marvel at the panoramic views of Shillong from Shillong Peak. Then head to Elephant Falls and admire the scenic vistas. Visit NohKaLikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India. Continue to Dainthlen Falls and take postcard-perfect pictures. Then visit the Mawsmai caves and see ancient fossils and limestone formations. Return back to your hotel in Shillong for an overnight stay.

Day 3

Departure | Visit Kamakhya Temple

Pack your bags and check out from your hotel in Shillong. The driver will pick you up from the hotel and take you to visit Kamakhya Temple, which is one of the most revered Shaktipeeths in India. After visiting the temple, get transferred to Guwahati Airport/ railway station/ bus station where your trip will come to an end.
